Description

Background image taken in Shady Cove, Oregon. A second layer at a lower opacity applied over the first to produce a blizzard effect. Deer added as composites. Snow created in photoshop by using the noise tool, blend mode screen at 100% opacity. A second layer of snow at screen blend mode and 35% opacity for a mistier look.

First and most importantly, my first though was not Photoshop but instead - great image! Thanks for putting in how you achieved the effect...I have done some snow images and they are not easy to make look realistic.
I also love how you put the trees in the foreground in sharper focous...it really pops the image.
Love it! #1460881

p.s. If you are interested in selling your images I would contact Leaning Tree about this one. They are honest and easy to work with and I think they might be intrested in this image for their greeting card selection.
Keep shooting:) #10123147

Hi Zita, thanks so much for the visit and for the great comment. I didn't know that Leaning Tree was on line. I'll have to look them up. I love their cards! Dee #10123591
