Nice concept Sue. What goes on at a wedding stays at a wedding. :o)

On this particular shot, I think it can be helped a bit. First correct the tilt and then Crop to center the image because it is a symetrical composition.

Then would suggest removing the color cast and tweaking the highlights and shadows. #10114350

Lov'n this image, Sue. I like your creative staging of the girl's celebration and seeing all the details. Especially, like the texture in the cushion.
I might suggest reducing the highlights to the upper half of the image. It appears very bright on my screen and all the details are lost. Could just be my screen, tho.
What would it look like if you continued the cushion out and off the frame? Cloning might work.

Sue. I love the concept of the shot – very creative. I do think it has some problems mentioned by Dale and Carla. I am not sure you have enough data in the upper portion of the shot to bring it in. It is a great fun shot, though, so it might be worth some effort. Honestly, I'm not sure what I would try as the bright light through the clear bottle makes a total background replacement a little tough. I would certainly play with that though, as it is a worthwhile image. #10115016

Very cute idea and I could care less what color the shoes are. My main issue was the uneveness of how far away each shoe was from the edge, but if you correct the tilt maybe that will work itself out. Also for BP you need a stroke for this. I do look forward to seeing your edits on this. It will be a shot everyone talks about for years when looking at the wedding album! :~) #10115089

Having an impish sense of humor I think after making the shot that you did for the official wedding album I would have re-shot it with one of the shoes laying on its side to suggest that the half empty bottle of whiskey was, shall we say, evidence of a very happy union. Hic! #10115204

great shot I agee with the stroke and the other adjustment mention. look forward to seeing the changes.
But for me in the future I want to go up and push one of thoses shoes over because for me thats the way my shoes would have been after drinking that whiskey...LOL #10120123

Sue- I admire your ability with these advertisement looking shots. I,d like to see the changes that have been suggested. I,too, noticed the shoes were not equidistant from the sides of the frame. I think this could make a great square, center-weighted image. #10120169
