PS: If you drop a coin into the bucket he comes to life, turns toward you and extends his right hand for a handshake. #1458401

Dennis,

Incredibly done.

Fantastic photo and Idea.
I wonder if a drop a Mexican Peso, he will come to life, but instead of shaking hands, I would get a slap in my cheek.

G'donya DAVID!

Happy to see you strolling around the markets.

Loads 'n' loads of warm Aussie thanks for the terrific feedback mate.

With those sunglasses I doubt if he could tell the difference between a peso or a penny. LOL

Carla Capra Anderson April 24, 2012

I'm with Robert; I'd love to see this in color. Very nicely done. Boy, I'd love to see what is reflected in his glasses. #10107393

Dennis Gay April 24, 2012

Cheers ROBERT & CARLA!!

Thank you both very much indeed for coming to the markets and for leaving such encouraging and supportive remarks.

Robert: While the colour version does have an attraction, part of the skin near the lad's ear has not been "silvered" and the sky is burnt out. (Hint, hint). As our chef is all covered with silver there is little colour of note really.

Carla: The sunglasses reflections are market scenes - stalls, tents, people etc.

Thanks - still, it might be neat to see a version just like this, but leaving only the skin in color #10107797

Dennis Gay April 24, 2012

Hey ROBERT:

He is all in silver. Skin, clothing, chef's hat, stainless steel bowl - the lot. 8-)
