Morning Has Broken

Description

Submitted for the PG101 Sky Theme
I was driving to work one morning and the sky was glorious, constantly changing. I hated that I was driving AND had nothing to "put in front of it" :) I arrived, and as I walked toward the building, I turned for one last look. This is the home of friends who live across from the school, and I thought I'd just take a picture of their house for them. They now have a large, matted and framed print on metallic paper hanging in their dining room.

You know, that's such a nice thing that you thought to show them this and then arrange for their undoubtedly cherished hanging photo. Marvelous sky, of course, and well composed too. #10101083

"I turned for one last look", that turn will bag you a GOLD, Nikki, at least IMHO. This is very nicely done. Good good luck with this. HTD!!!

I bet your friends are loving this picture because it's a beauty. That sky is fabulous and I like how their house is nestled in the trees. #10102487

I couldn't agree with Usman more...that stroke of serendipity that made you turn for one last look and capture this wonderful shot will surely(and must)lead to a gold badge. I love how the morning glow takes the "command seat" to hug and frame your friend's home. Simply beautiful work, Nikki! #10103425

With my luck I would have no camera. This is gorgeous and so fortunate for these friends. #10110873
