The Chase

Uploaded: April 14, 2012

Description

Here is a duck version of a great car chase. The "chaser" is defending his turf (a female duck). The lead duck is about to take flight to put a little distance between himself and the "chaser". He flew a few yards, settled back in the water, and the chase began again. I watched these Blue-winged Teal and a trio of Wood Ducks for 45 minutes and the chase was still in progress when I left. I bet they were two tired ducks at the end of the day.
