Now with that hair do Kate this guy was made to photograph. My eye seems to be drawn to the centre nose, background highlight - was not sure whether to call this constructive critique or friendly praise - I am doing both :-) just hope you think its constructive. You really captured his strong features !! #1450895Kate Jackson March 21, 2012
Hi Barbara I thought long and hard about that highlighted background. Naturally I did tone it down somewhat but I decided to leave it in as I thought the nose stood out more against that than it would if I had totally got rid of it. But then maybe you are right because the main subject is the hair so I should not have been trying to draw attention to the nose silhouette. It would be interesting to put it in again with your amendments and see if it gets any further than this one. If I have the time that is. Just off to pilates and then have to organise the coffee morning. Then drum up business for a variety entertainment evening in the village hall friday night at which we have more cast than audience. Go to a CPS committee meeting tonight, village hall committee meeting tomorrow night. Make food for the entertainment evening on Friday. Mondays I am now running a mother and toddler group. When will it all end.Alexandra Hankova June 09, 2012
