Displaced people from the disputed region of Abyei between Sudan and South Sudan await their names being read from a list. When on a list, humanitarian assistance becomes available. A hundred thousand people fled Abyei in May 2011, after fighting broke out. Many of them had to overnight in the open air, without any facilities.
