Cartwheel flash blur

Uploaded: February 06, 2012

Description

Used dome (not sure if off ceiling or direct...didn't write it down); I played around until I found that 1/6s worked best to show some blur with my son's tumbling and dancing but keep it clear enough. I like how his hands/head are sharp from the flash, but his moving legs show motion. I had to crop out distracting stuff in the room and make it a vertical photo.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/6 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, return light detected, ISO: 200, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90
