Life is good!

Uploaded: January 21, 2012

Description

Having some more fun with my macro filter. I haven't been able to spend the money on a macro lens, but I got some macro filters as a Christmas gift and am having a blast. Captured this flower in the morning light with some dew remaining. We're having higher than normal temps in FL this weekend, and I'm soaking it up! Used f5.6, 1/400 sec, ISO 100. Processed RAW file in PSE and added a bit of detail filter in Topaz. Slight crop also applied. Enjoy your weekend!

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/400 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 55.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi

Thank you, Sherran and Larry!!

I have been very well, Sherran. Thanks for asking! I got out of the habit of posting new photos for quite a while (sold our condo and bought a house so that has taken up ALL my free time for several months!) but hoping to be doing a lot more. Looking forward to spring for more flower captures and of course baseball! :) #9935292
