Grand Canyon National Park. June 2011. These Mule rides are riding down to the famous Phantom Ranch. Or you could always hike the 12 miles one way down and back.

This is wonderful, Tammy. It evokes childhood memories. I grew up in western New York State (Rochester), where third graders had to learn classical music and be able to identify themes, by listening to broadcasts from the Eastman School of Music.

My favorite them was from the "Grand Canyon Suite." I can hear it by looking at this photo. Wonderful. #1435342

What a terrific capture Tammy. I love the dust flying up. I remember when we were there and I was walking down that trial...just how far down the bottom is. As Agnes says...they never lost one..but there is always a first time for everything! LOL #9910652
