Second Place - Elements of Design - January 2012
The grounds surrounding Williams Tower in the Galleria area of Houston are a favorite place for many for enjoying a beautiful day.
While I was shooting the tower, this young Houstonian ran by, and I was captured by her tiny exuberance against the massive building,
and the patterns, reflections, and colors. The sky was a brilliant clear blue and since Houston
is fortunate to have mild winters, there actually is green grass in January!
