Donna, this is the first time I've seen your work and I am totally impressed! Your series of this model on the sette are just gorgeous! Love the high fashion style you use! I'm inspired to keep trying with my photos of my granddaughter! Any suggestions on your part would be so appreciated! #1428965James N. Carpenter December 09, 2011

Thank you, everyone, for taking a moment of your time to comment, it is greatly appreciated.Joannie, what can I say as far as suggestions ... keep doing what you love, don't be defeated. There will be those who love and those that hate what you do, you must develop a sort of armadillo skin, and be able to roll with the critiques but don't let it get you down, learn from it, enjoy those 1 day highs, cuz you will have 6 day lows.
I personally live vicarously through my models through my lens...I see ME in THEM, lol.
Remember, once your passion feels like a JOB then it is time to stop, recoup, and then come back to it, you really have to have a love for photography.
I also took a couple of classes here on BP, and enjoyed them. I have researched, read, and most of all, I have praticed and created. Photography is a never-ending learning experience, always something new. BUT it's so weird when you think about it, because anything that can be done in photography has been done, you just have to put your spin on things. Learn the rules of photography so that you can break them, that is my biggest suggestion.
Peace, #9861863
