Description

Grandson, Ethan (here at 8 months), is going for a stroll as daughter Heather is running with a dog and the stroller to get back into shape up and down the hills of Travis Heights in Austin. This is something to which all three look forward.

This is really cute, Bunny; your best shot of Ethan so far, I think! And because it marks such an important part of their routine, I'd think Heather would want it hanging on her wall... maybe in Ethan's room? I can't think of a nicer holiday gift for her. #1427136

Beautiful lighting and composition. Great smile. #9842491

What a lovely thing to say, Melinda.
Heather has a real knack for both composition and getting terrific images of Ethan. I was thinking of getting her an inexpensive web site for Christmas at BP. While upkeep is expensive over time, I hope it's a safer place than Facebook...That is, if BP can stay afloat.

Heather's way of capturing good images of Ethan is to take hundreds and then pick the best. I must admit her focus and eyes are sharper and her composition is just naturally better than mine. She's a fast learner and observer and after saying negative things about my lighting direction (bouncing the flash off a light ceiling or the walls), and getting more DOF when using a tripod in low light, I noticed she bought her own flash, remote and tripod and is following what I have suggested. Now, that's the best compliment a mom can receive.

I will consider having a print made of Ethan in his stroller for her. Thank you for the suggestion. #9842494

Thank you, Mary. Ethan is adorable, especially when he's reacting to his mother's voice. Heather and husband, Den, have taken some wonderful snapshots of Ethan. He's an adorable baby with two very loving parents! Den feed and changes him, picks up up at Nanny care when Heather works late. Heather takes Ethan and the dog running to get them out of the house so Den can sleep in the morning and they take turns feeding the baby in the wee hours if he awakens. Ethan is one lucky baby! #9842515

Oh, isn't he handsome. A priceless expression captured Bunny! #9847210

Thank you, Joy, and Donna.
I used AI Servo to capture the expression and therefore, also captured Ethan with a growing to full grown smile, but liked this one best. (Just love AI Servo and multiple exposure settings for both birds and people, especially babies!)

Ethan is a handsome baby, thank you. And, we suspect he's going to be a real heart throb when older. He's charming!
