Yes, I love the overall effect. What's more, I was there at the scene and I certainly don't recall anything this cool :) How'd you go about creating this image, Joe? #1893716

You don't remember this? Must have been taking pictures the other way...Actually I used 3 different plugins from a company called Flaming Pear Software. LunarCell to make the moon, Flood to make the water, and Melancholytron to make the color/mood. They are all downloadable as free trials for 30 days as plugins to photoshop. Pretty fun to play with.

As a reference, this is the photo I started with.

No, I remember this... I was just kidding.

Very cool resulting image, Joe. #1894373

It's funny how humor sometimes gets lost in translation. I have to remember that when critiquing images. In fact, Jim Zuckerman, at one point, really wanted us to offer audio (recorded) critiques, so people could hear his voice. But the idea was not well received by our students - they liked the benefits of written, visual critiques far better.

Oh, and congratulations - I saw that one of your images did well in the Special Effects category. Keep up the great work. #1894615

yep, thanks, I'm on a roll. And I thought after the Jim on pig incident my chances of winning another contest went down the drain! #1896544
