The Making of 'Fishermen All':

I had spent all afternoon strolling the Town Green and going out to the end of the Breakwater photographing the bodyboard action at Town Beach so I was ready to call it a day. But when I got to Lady Nelson wharf and saw this glorious sunset and the fishermen silhouette, it felt like the day had only just begun.

I leant hard against a pole for support and as I lined up the anglers on the wharf I heard the unmistakeable sound of an approaching outboard motor. After a quick look I reset the zoom, refocussed, waited until the boat was in the right place and made my shot.

Photographer's Luck was with me this day because within ten minutes or so three different things floated across the scene to add to the already great silhouetted anglers - a float plane, three pelicans and two canoes. I went home with a warm fuzzy feeling.

Enjoy!

G'day *Arthur*!

Great to see you checking out my Coast Apartment Project photographs.
Mega thanks for your great wrap.

The framing was done to comply with the client's wishes to enhance the mounting, matting and framing of the prints. I kinda like the idea.
