The Making of 'Winter Stalker #4':The weather was dull and grey and my blood was up as I headed down to Lake Cathie in the hope of bagging more shots to add to my 'Lake Cathie Pride' series.
I was not to be disappointed as I stalked the Great White Egret (Ardea alba) while it stalked the shallows.
Once again, due to the limitations of my equipment and to keep to the idea for the series, I opted for an environmetal study, not a bird study. We get to see more of the lake that way.
Enjoy!

Talk about drawing your eye to the subject! Love the beautiful gray tones of the background, but my eye goes right to the egret! Well done! #9720116Dennis Gay October 06, 2011
