Description

This is Emerald Pool in Yellowstone National Park. These pools are very hot (as you can see from the steam above the green area of the pool where the water is very deep) and they contain such superb colors.
This has been uploaded straight from my camera, therefore, it hasn't been altered in any way, or even resized.

Gorgeous catch. The colors and what causes them were one of the most interesting facts about the area.
Will be out there again next week and look forward to getting to see the pools again first hand.
