Paxton Hill Farm

I shot this while stopped on the near-deserted rural road in central Bucks County, Pennsylvania at the end of July. Lost (even with GPS)after encountering an unexpected detour because of a washed-out bridge, I had been trying to get to the nearby Cuttalossa Farm. But Paxton Hill Farm, from many angles and roads, provided some wonderful photo opportunities. I had not heard of this place before.

Today, Paxton Hill features its annual "Art in the Garden" event. I'm tagging along with my neighbors, so I won't be driving. Whew! Since I am "directionally challenged" I'm happy that I can just sit back and let someone else negotiate the MANY detours we are likely to encounter following Hurricane Irene.
