Thank you folks for your encouraging comments! I personally love street photography and now that Jana highlighted my strong point on landscapes and candid photos, I will have to take a second look.

Have you not also the same feeling as I: you think your certain photos will get recognition but it does not!? When you look at the thousands of amazing submission, you know the competition is very keen. Hence it's always have a surprise factor for me whenever any of my images have been selected for the finalist :))

Chung Wah,
I agree with your sentiment about certain photos that you believe will get recognition do not. I have felt that way several times. On the other hand, I am always surprized at my photos that do make finalist because they are not my favorites.
