Thank you Kate, Yes we did leave from Vancouver, then went north bound to alaska. Carnval offers south bound, leaving from Whittier, just outside anchorage that goes down to Vancouver, or out of Vancouver north bound back up to Whittier. If you have enough time and money, you could make the round trip, we didn't have either one of those :). #1860433

Well we would have the time but unfortunately not the money to go everywhere we want to. We are leaving Thursday to go to New England hoping to catch the fall and then we are off to Wisconsin to visit Geoff's sister and family. We will be away nearly 4 weeks. We are owing Pat a visit as she has been over to us every year for a long while. #1860465

That sounds like a wonderful trip. You should see really great color in New England. Allot folks miss Wisconsin, but in the fall it is also a beautiful place. Have a great time and post lots of pictures. #1863217
