What an awesome shot! David, this really is a great shot...the lighting is beautiful. I tried for a similar shot the other day and well I am apparently not as skilled as you'll see :) Any pointers? I'll upload my failed attempt at capturing a fawn with my comment. What type of lens do you use? THanks. Best of luck to you in the contest! #113456Duane Carter May 27, 2019 0

Well done - Congrats!!! #114728David Reinhard May 27, 2019 0
Thanx all for the kind comments. As you can see the lighting was near perfect. The whitetails down in Shenandoah National Park are exceptional when it comes to being none skiddish. The lens that I used on this shot was a Canon 300mm f2.8 IS. Film: Fuji Provia 100f. I wrote a small report on our trip to Shenandoah Park. Here is the link for anyone interested. It pretty much explains our personal experience. Please enjoy and thanx again for the kind comments:http://www.photosfromthewild.com/MeadowLife.php
