What fun she is having. Nothing like walking barefoot in mud. #1402702Michael Kelly August 21, 2011

Thanks guys. I took this while back in Cornwall. They are strangers and it was just one of those sweet moments that I couldn't resist shooting. There were of course delightful sound effects that went with it as the little girl shrieked as she stomped in the wet sand. This was during low tide in the harbour at Mevagissey. #9619125Jeff E Jensen August 21, 2011
Nicely seen and captured Peter! #9619306Debbie E. Payne August 21, 2011
Peter , Looks like she is having so much fun in the nice, squishy mud. I can almost feel it oozing up between the toes. The fun will begin when Mom takes her home and tries to get all the sand off daughter and herself! I agree...good capture of a fun moment! #9619341Joan E. Hoffman August 22, 2011
Cute... all kids like mud, looks like mum does as well. #9621076Stephen Shoff August 22, 2011
...or perhaps early memories are felt. Good job capturing a learning moment.Peter W. Marks August 23, 2011
Thank you friends. here is another shot from the same place. You will see from the shadows directly beneath the kids that this was about noon local time and the contrast is rather harsh but this scene of three kids absorbed in their activities wouldn't wait for better light. The nearest girl is examining the sea life underneath the bladderwrack seaweed, the other girl is picking up tiny sea shells while the little boy was trying to shake wet sand off his hands. And to think they will grow to teenagers only interested in texting or whatever replaces that in ten years time. Sigh! #9621966Aimee C. Eisaman August 24, 2011
Very sweet capture! :~) Might look okay with a bit of the shadows opened up. Not sure you can get more detail on the mothers face with the harsh lighting. Too bad you don't know them because I'm sure they would love to have this shot. #9625092Rita K. Connell August 24, 2011
