Yes I have a thing for Croc's & Gator's. If you look at our friend here you can see he's missing his right front foot. These animal have an amazing ability to survive horrific injuries of all types. Injuries that would certainly kill any warm blooded creature are just of no consequence to them. Shy of regenerating body parts they seem
able to heal w/o infection and just continue as if NOTHING has happened. If you ever get to any gatorland type exhibit, take a close look at some of the OLDER BIGGER inhabitants and note all the battle scars & body damage. Especially around the heads. Missing eyes and parts of jaws are very common. THEY ARE REAL SURVIVORS ...

MORE MONSOON RAIN TODAY THEY SAY !!!!

Hi Jack, amazing capture here, I bet that miising foot hasn't hindered him at all. He seems quite proud of his missing foot, seems to be showing off his stump lol.. #1401176

He probably stuck it in the wrong croc's face! There's a leopard in Tulsa Zoo with an amputated front foot. I never saw him get up, but I guess they can get around fine. #9605374

Yes, I've been trying to understand your gator affinity. I think it's just the natural mutual attraction of curmudgeons! That is a compliment, believe it or not.
