Magnolia

Description

. . . one of my absolute favourite florals . . our home has magnolia art everywhere. It wasn't until recently that I actually saw a real live one.

Particularly like the graceful swag of the leaves supporting the blossom and purposely did not "correct" the blemishes in the blossom . . . nothing is perfection in real life, and that is how it was . . . trying to remain true to reality.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.67, ExposureTime: 1/125 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 200, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 105.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700

Congrats on your phinalist! I just love the texture you added to this. I've tried several times to get good shots of these flowers and haven't been able to do it. Wonderful work! :~) #9711900
