Glacier Bay Alaska

Uploaded: August 04, 2011

Description

This was taken at about 5AM as the ship was pulling into glacier Bay.....I had to run and wake my wife up to share it with her because it was breathtaking.
When she came to the bow of the ship with me she actually started crying and told me that "it was heaven" I said what? and again she said "it is what she has always imagined heaven to look like"

Taken with my D700, 24 f1.4, and a Gitzo tripod on the nose/bow of the ship.

Comments and suggestions welcome.

Cheers, joe
