Captured this Black Swan paddling at the Saint Louis Zoo. on 7/14/2011.
Black Swans are found in the wetlands of Australia & New Zealand.
The term 'Swan Song' comes from the ancient Greek belief that the swan sang a song of
death when its' life was about to end.
Aperture Priority, f8 @ 1/500, ISO 800.
Tamron 18-270mm PDZ @ 270mm.
Adjusted for brightness, saturation, contrast, & red.

Lou, you really nailed this picture. I just noticed you took this picture at 270mm, and there is alot of nice detail here. I was just thinking that sometimes it is hard to avoid camera shake with a telephoto lens. But you did a nice job of it.
