A Day at the Lake

Uploaded: July 22, 2011

Description

One of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Nevada. This lake sits at 6,223 feet, the lake is 22 miles long by 12 miles wide. It's maximum depth of 1,644 feet making it one of the deepest lakes in the world. The water of Lake Tahoe is very clear to an average depth of 68 feet. The surrounding geology does not produce a lot of soil and mineral runoff and therefore the water in the lake stays clear. Just out of curiosity I looked at the going rate for an average size house right on the lake. The listing price was $12 million dollars. Out of my price range...so I will just have to visit.
