The sky was dark because of an approaching storm and because of my flash at a high shutter speed. Processed partially in black and white and partially in color.

Thank you, Amanda. I've been trying to capture the chickadee or other birds in this position for years. It's not as easy as I thought the first time I succeeded. Tiny birds move so fast that being ready, seizing the moment, plus a bit of luck is necessary. #9568091
