Did you ever see the Terry Gilliam film "Baron Von Munchausen"? In it, the main character pays a visit to Vulcan, who later introduces his wife Venus (a young Uma Thurman, emerging discreetly naked from a giant scallop shell--a memorable entrance!) Anyway, Venus is smitten by the Baron, ignoring her powerful, uber-masculine god-husband. When Vulcan crushes coal into a diamond for her, in his bare hands, she says "Oooh... another diamond" and casually tosses it aside (into a pile of such diamonds.)
This peahen seems to be of the same mindset... "seen one, you've seen them all, those showy, showy males..." ;)
