Such a shame that we humans can not protect these beautiful creatures, we would rather hunt them and destroy their habitat. I think often of God with a tear in his eye as we wipe out one of his creations after another.
Its sad to think that some day this gorgeous picture may be someday the only remembrance we have of them. Such beautiful markings and colors I love its expression and those eyes. Into my favorites my friend. Beautifully done.
Have a wonderful day. #1383919

A remarkable capture of a remarkable animal, Kathy! Really beautiful - those blue eyes are incredible and they are looking straight at you! Magnificent, my friend! I cannot believe that there are only 40 of them left in the wild. Where do they reside? #9453017

Talk about a riveting gaze - super eye contact here, Kathy, made all the more so by those astonishing blue eyes...what a magnificent animal and a superb capture of this sadly diminishing species....it's shameful - it truly is. I hope there is work being done to proliferate the species and bring these wonderful animals back from near extinction. #9456570
