Description

I rarely shoot with B/W in mind as a final output. Sometimes however, when processing the color version I'll sharpen the lightness channel in the LAB mode and notice that a B/W version may have potential. I'll create a blank same size document and drag the lightness channel into that. It will be an alpha channel so you have to convert to grayscale and then to RGB. From there you can process accordingly. For some images that's probably the best conversion to B/W.
