Camera = Canon G2
Shutter Speed 1/1000 sec.
Aperture = f/8
Subject Distance = 2-inches.
My flash/lens filter combination was like this: Vivitar MACROFLASH 5000, which was attached by cable to an adapter on the hotshoe, then HOYA 58->55 stepdown ring, COKIN CLOSE-UP +1D, HOYA +3, HOYA NDX8, then the Canon Conversion Lens Adapter. You can see the Ring Flash in the Eye. The NDx8 makes viewing the subject (in the preview screen) nearly impossible as it is a very dark filter, so you simply have to 'guesstamate' where to place the camera and fire.
