Josh, This is very interesting. I never thought of doing the BW on a playground. But it works well for this picture because of the different elements of wood and metal. I like this and I also like the shadows and highlights too.sandi #1377193

Thanks Sandi!I took a pic of this because I thought it was kind of interesting. After playing around with the color image for a while, it just wasn't coming together. I decided to give BW a try and was pretty happy with the results. I feel it's much more dramatic now than in color.
Thanks! #9406042

Very creative Josh. I was working in a very similar idea, with a couple of swings, but I didn't like the results. The B&W is a fantastic solution for the loneliness mood.Sandi L. Olson May 16, 2011
I never thought of the lonliness lelment of this but it makes sense. The BW seems very appropriate because what is a playground without kids! NiceMisty Blue May 16, 2011
Great black and white Josh. It gives a nice moody tone to the photo. #9407256Tori A. Gonzalez May 18, 2011
I agree with the others, the black and white works really well here! Great title too :) #9410963Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
