Visually impressive John! If you rotate the image 90 to the right you will observe a couple of disjointed eyes at the base of the tree and a helmeted monkey sitting on a rock with a jewelled sword infront of him. There is a lot of other imagery at the base of the tree as well. Very ominous! #1373785

Thank you all for your great compliments. I was excited to be a second place winner. Since I was a finalist its wasn't completely out of the blue. POTD was an unbelievable surprise, totally unexpected and thrilling. Thank you all again for your comments. Glad you like this image. It was a good morning walk in Tuscany and spiritual to be greeted by God's Rays through the tree-- and the morning was even better to be able to capture the image. Went back the next morning and they were not there. #11487541
