A well seen and captured scene here, Robert!! Well done - I like the bold colours!! :o) What is the significance of the signage on the right?[I noticed the name Hidalgo in the signage - one of my nephews married a girl of Filipino extraction and her surname was also Hidalgo!! ;o)] #1371606

Thanks for taking the time to look. The sign to the right is the street name and house number. Very typical of houses from colonial Mexico. The street name Hidalgo, is named for one of the heroes from the Mexican war of Independence (1810) Miguel Hidalgo. #9365266Carolyn J. Connolly April 23, 2011
Robert, thanks so much for your reply to my question!! I thought it looked as though that was a street name and house number, but wasn't sure... Very interesting indeed...and I will have to Google for more info. on Miguel Hidalgo!! :o) #9365279Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
