Mockingbird

Uploaded: March 26, 2011

Description

Yesterday I was out taking bluebonnet photos and this mockingbird landed in the tree above my head. I believe it was trying to protect its nest (although I didn't see the nest). I took a couple of shots and they were pretty good, but I decided to go get the 2X converter and try again. I went back to the same place and the bird came back. This is one of two shots I got then.
