While he naps, his ladies preen. Of course knowing that Shovelers are monogamous those can't all be his wives. :-) Village Creek Drying Beds, Arlington, TX. Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM at 400mm. 1/1250 sec. f/7.1. ISO 500.

Thanks Christine. I thought the picture said it and my imagination went there, LOL. They were quite a ways out so this is a 100% crop but it still turned out ok. Even at ISO 500. #9314741
