This is a very memorable image for St. Patrick's Day Silvia! Love the dramatic lighting and excellent composition! #1361494

A wonderful capture and tribute. I feel this especially because my husband's father, a British Merchant Navy radio officer, was lost in the North Atlantic when his ship was torpedoed in January of 1941. He never stopped sending his SOS until the end.
There is a memorial like this in London on Tower Hill. Wonderful that they are remembered with honor and appreciation. #9295445

Thank you so much Joannie and Michelle for your kind words! And thank you Michelle for sharing your personal story with us. Although these tributes would not take away the sorrow and pain of their loved ones, but I agree with you, it is indeed wonderful that at least they are remembered with honor and appreciation. #9306309
