Fly-thru Take-out window

Uploaded: February 21, 2011

Description

Chestnut-backed Chickadee (year-round resident) at the Free 'Fly-thru Take-out window' on our acreage in South West British Columbia, Canada on Feb. 19th, 2011. This gorgeous Crackle-glass bird feeder is but one of the latest new additions to the many bird feeding stations here. I just love taking care of and making certain there is always a steady supply of food for my feathered friends. They in turn take mighty good care of my life-long 'I love Nature' spirit.

A wonderful shot, and terrific story. Your acreage must be so wonderful. #1355186

Many thanks Michelle for your ever welcome thoughts and your time. Yes, the acreage is wonderful indeed and has given back ten-fold for all my efforts (34 years now) to encourage harmony between humans and wildlife. Thank you again Michelle! #9257925
