OMG, amazing capture Julie, almost a surreal feeling to it. Winner in my book. Can't be a happy ending for the male Cardinal. #1350745

It's beautiful image of light, color, detail, and movement, but ohh...poor cardinal! #9216259

Monnie Ryan February 06, 2011

Just gorgeous, Julie, but I feel so sad about that cardinal! I'll hope he made it out okay, just minus several feathers! #9216270

Thank you Gord, Tammy, and Ron. This is hands down the oddest thing I've ever submitted. When feeding the birds, you feed the predators also. Looking at the prints, a cat won this meal. I just found a certain gracefulness to the remaining feathers. #9216282

Such beautiful light and wonderfully soft colors in this amazing (but sad ending for the cardinal) abstract...great flow and movement captured here, as well...a real beauty of a capture, Ms. J! I'm hoping (like Monnie) the cardinal was a bit more cagey than the cat!! #9216609
