One of my favorite birds of prey, they do always have that serious look that lets you know they know how to hunt and catch their prey. I can see why so many movies and cartoons play to this bird. Gorgeous keen eyes, but their hearing is what zeros them in on their target. Love their colors and you show some amazing features of this duet. Gorgeous and remarkable work my dear friend. A wild pair of burrowing owls in Cape Coral,FL.
Thank you Joanne for your hospitality during my recent visit to Fl,a fun time looking for wildlife...It was wonderful to see these amazing birds once again.
I am fascinated by their eyes and the different expressions of this pair.Love the intensity look in their faces..
