Barcelona - Montserrat is a spectacularly beautiful Benedictine monk mountain retreat about one hour North West from Barcelona by train. Wonderful views, cool mountain air, easy walks and trails for the fitter tourist - cheaper to take your own lunch !!. yummy icecreams for those with a sweet tooth.

Hi Kate - I agree about the tut tut - thanks actually I think last month I entered a very similar image to this one "The Tourist" without the clipped head. The adorable young lady with the camera is actually Anna and yes it is a view of Montserrat. You inspired me with your images of Barcelona and I started going through mine again.
