This rascal came up on the picnic table. Took a grape from my hand and ran down to his perch on a rock to eat it. He ate four grapes before disappearing. Fun!!!

Cute little chipmunk, Lonnie. I spend a good part of my adult life feeding squirrels and birds in our back yard all year and also during camping in the Rockies. When we make contact, they do something special for our hearts that I can't explain. At our last house I had a blue jay that would swoop down and -ALMOST- take a peanut from my stretched up arm, and chickadee's that ate from my palm. Wonderful experiences. Our black squirrels were VERY tame.
Great job here.
