This photo is very personal for me, it symbalizes the comfort of addiction, warm, fuzzy comfort, but trapped all the same. I forgot to say I did some level tweaks in photoshop but nothing else, the red glowstick did well I think. #34286Brinn MacDougall May 26, 2019
Very powerful image, Matthew, I feel the pain of addiction. The hidden diease hiding in all of us. Excellent use of PS. the red glowstick is wonderful. #94490Cathy Barrows May 26, 2019
I'm not sure what a red glow stick is, but this is a very powerful and emotive shot. Red was a good color choice since it is a color of rage. #94491Damian P. Gadal May 26, 2019
Heartbreaking! #94492Matthew Roybal May 26, 2019
Thank you Brinn, Cathy, Damian, red glowstick isnt a Ps filter. I took a red glowstick, you know that little plastic stick that campers use by snapping it and it glows a certain color. They use them for emergency situations for caving or camping. I then used a knife to cut the stick and released the glowing liquid smearing it on the walls, then had my model hold a natural pose(ironically enough one that seemed filled with despair), we had been drinking. The missile silos are a very powerfull place to shoot. There were in the sixties missiles that had 10 kiloton atomic warheads in them. Thats about roughly 3 times hiroshima! #94497Carl D. Pretty creative stuff Mat, good work! Your model did a great job of staying still I might add. #94561Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
