Lisa, I could have marked nearly all your photographs as a "Fave". Your snow and ice ones, however, could use a little more skill levels. Trust me - living in Michigan - the pure quantity of my not-so-great snow and ice shots is HUGE!

If I could give the perfect formula for exposing these items, I would. One suggestion is maybe to do bracketed shots, adjust each, and then merge. Definitely, do a search on "Tutorial+snow". They are out there in droves.

Kiddo - you are definitely well on your way to being an outstanding photographer. You obviously know how important continous learning is. #1358616

Oops. Forgot to mention the possibility of using a Speedlite type flash unit. It seems to even out the exposure in outdoor settings. That's a new skill for me, so [again] I can't really help you, but someone, somewhere can. #9276519

Yeah - I sort of forgot where you live (although it seems like you all have been getting a lot of crappy weather lately.) #9276558

Haha yeah, I love the snow but down here we don't get it nearly as much as I would like. I guess that's why you noticed I not any good at snow pictures is because I don't get much practice at all. #9276562

We get more than our share of snow - and, I still don't 'get it' as well as I should! lollllll #9276638
