Thanks for all the nice comments!Rusty was having fun, exploring in the flowers on this beautiful sunny day. Fortunately, I listened to my wife, Vicky, who suggested that it was a perfect time to get some pictures of our new kitten.
I selected aperture priority and a minimum iso value (200) to limit the depth of field, and hoped to catch him pausing long enough to snap his picture. The first macro setting on the FujiFinePix S-7000 worked beautifully at 3Meg.
Aperture setting was f/4.4 with an exposure of 1/240 of a second. The jpg file size is 787 kb, at 2016 x 1512.
