Beautiful photo. I love how the sun breaks just past the barn. #565Stephen September 09, 2001 0
Perfect compostion. And the yellow tint from the sun really brings this photo out. I have been to Mt. Rainer, but never encountered the chance to photograph there without it raining and being overcast. This photo is beautiful. Keep up the good work. #1028Michael Shirk September 12, 2001 0
Jim, I grew up outside of Seattle (Belfair on Hood Canal) and love this picture. I left almost thirty years ago and live in Atlanta. I would like to know where this was taken (it looks very familiar) and how I can purchase an image good enough to print 13 by 19 on my epson 1280. After today's events Mt. Rainer is a very comfortable site.

This was shot on the road from Puyallup toward Northwest Trek. I can't remember the actual street name but if you are interested I will be happy to look it up as soon as the wife gets home with the car (and, thus, the maps).
Thanks very much for your comments. #1273

Jim, In early May 1994, I traveled to the Seattle - Tacoma area for a job interview at Weyerhauser. From the second or third story of their building was a beautiful view of Mt. Ranier quite similar to your photo. Upon leaving Sea-Tac airport the next morning, we were able to see the peak above the clouds. #11725
