Description

I took this picture of a whitefronted bee-eater on a late afternoon during a recent visit to the Kruger National Park. He kept returning to the same branch and I thought he looked like a beautiful jewel adorning an otherwise barren thorntree. Shutter 1/800 f-stop 6.3 - ISO 400

Very nice capture, Linda. This must be a little guy unless those are really big thorns. #296035

Many thanks for the feedback. The birds are quite small but I was fairly close and I was using my 170-500mm lens at full zoom. #1729801
