Tammy, Linda, Carla, Nicole, Evy and Chris... Thank you all for your comments. My three Citadel images fared pretty well for August. The campus and particularly the barracks are quite photogenic and a great place to shoot. Parents weekend is in October so I'm hoping to get some new images from there. Excellent composition and superb shot! Congrats on your POTD!!! The lone person is the icing on the cake in this image!!! #2010812Paul Conlan October 29, 2005
Thank you all for you congratulations and comments. I'm very please that you like the photo. The Citadel barracks are great photo venues when you can gain access to them. I agree with your comment Wendy regarding the lone person. It worked out great and was un-posed. Actually, there were scores of people around and it worked out perfectly that only one was in the photo. If you'd like to see other photos from The Citadel and the barracks you can check out Gallery L - Charleston/The Citadel on my website: www.fstopblues.com Thank you all again and best wishes!Paul #2010829

Thank you for all the recent comments. FYI... I didn't pose the photo (rarely do) but did recognize the opportunity as the young man appeared. If you've not seen the photos with the red and white checkerboard barracks courtyard which obviously doesn't appear in this photo... check out the Citadel gallery at my website (see my previous comment). Best wishes... and thanks again. #2011806Mary Clarke October 29, 2005

Is this a photograph or a rendering? #2019671Paul Conlan October 31, 2005
Avis... Thank you for your comment. Glad you like the image. Juli... I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a "rendering" but it is definitely a photograph. I did some minor adjustments in PS8 and sharpened in LVP as the last step. That's it. #2019922Donna La Mattino Pagakis November 02, 2005
This has great lines and form. It really draws me into the image. Outstanding, congrats!! #2026780Luhut Napitupulu November 09, 2005
