Wow! Fantastic in-flight action capture of this little Chickadee, Carol! Your timing was spot-on - his feathers in both wings and tail are in the perfect fan motion and then you have such exquisite detail in the bird itself. I love these little brds and have a couple of pictures of them sitting on a branch and wire, but this is incredible. I know how small these birds are and for you to get this amazing and beautiful actions shot with the wings out and the tail feathers fanned is incredible. This kind of reminds me of a picture you would expect from a hummingbird, not this fast little guy. What gorgeous camera work, colors, details, dof, lighting, all come together for one remarkable picture my friend. #9091985
